Magic shows tend to astound, amaze and suspend belief. But, they don’t tend to make their audiences tear up or come running right up to the magician to give them a huge hug. Well, not all magic shows are like Aman Alhamid’s The 6 Emotional Needs Experience, an intimate show that has been leaving audiences speechless (and teary) since it was first performed in Singapore in December 2021.

Relationships aren’t always easy-peasy. They can be hard work. However, they can also be magical and that’s exactly what Aman Alhamid showcases in his one-of-a-kind magic show that keeps people talking, impacts lives and improves relationships one trick at a time. The Fever exclusive shows, which are performed in front of an intimate audience (10 pax), invite guests to take part and take advantage of what they see (or don’t see).
Aman, who is also an NLP certified corporate trainer and has appeared on Asia’s Got Talent for his exploits, professes that six needs are required to build a rock-solid relationship. They include Uncertainty as well as Freedom, and as he progresses through each requirement to maintain a strong and healthy relationship, magic flourishes and sparks fly.
You won’t quite believe what you see but as Aman says at the end of his show, “the real magic isn’t what you see here on stage. The real magic is what will happen when you start applying these 6 emotional needs in your relationships.”

Perched high up on the top floor (20th level) of the One Farrer Hotel, the Nest is one of Singapore’s most exclusive private dining experiences where guests get to wine and dine in opulent comfort as city vistas take their breath away. However, the sublime views of the Singapore skyline only enhance the sumptuous dining menu that guests are served once Aman Alhamid’s The 6 Emotional Needs Experience has finished.
Intimate groups of no more than 10 people will be treated to a delicious, three-course meal. To begin, diners will tuck into a cured Asian spiced salmon with pineapple salsa served with a micro herbs salad and black garlic aioli before moving on to the main of their choice from either a chicken supreme with cheesy kumara puree, pickled cauliflower, confit tomato and kaffir lime tamarind jus or a pan-seared barramundi, lemongrass, barley vongole, asparagus and cured organic eggi.
The hotel’s award-winning culinary team rounds out the dining experience with a Milo tiramisu served with mascarpone ice cream for a sweet end to what guests have said is a “comedic, heartfelt and emotional” performance. Vegetarian options are also available. 
The 6 Emotional Needs Experience: Magic, Comedy & Relationships takes place on Sunday 28 August. Three-course feasts follow two performances on the day, so guests can catch the magic show at 12pm or at 6pm before taking in the phenomenal views of the city from the top of One Farrer hotel. Tickets for the 90-minute performance plus the three-course menu cost S$200.
