The MINT Museum of Toys is currently running an all-new Augmented Reality Storytelling guided tour and workshop. Children will now be able to experience storytelling in a whole new way, by seeing their illustrations come to life and become part of a story.
At the workshop, children will need to help Snowy the Super Puppy rescue Yogi bear from poachers. By using creativity and imagination to create story characters in their colouring books the children become part of the storytelling process. Then, by using the AR app, they can watch as their drawings come to life and interact with scenes in the story!

The story, ‘Super Puppy in Me’ will help children to understand concepts of travel, history and culture while highlighting important values, and has been designed to encourage learning through interaction and creativity.
Children can then look forward to a guided museum tour that will introduce them to the fascinating history behind some of the world’s most beloved toys. The Childhood Favourites Collection shows classic toys from around the world, and is a great way for children to learn about different cultures, periods and of course, toys!

The Child Ticket Package includes entry to the MINT Museum of Toys, a 30-minute guided tour of the museum, and an AR storytelling activity. Additionally, children will receive a printed AR story colouring booklet, coloured markers, and a museum-exclusive folder.
This immersive event is specifically designed for families with young children between the ages of four and twelve years old. The experience is an excellent way to encourage children’s creativity, imagination, and critical thinking skills, all while having a blast!
