When it comes to the digital world, you shouldn’t believe everything you see. This is especially true when it comes to Alexander Yuen’s digital illusions. However, it’s hard not to be fooled, amazed or charmed by his tricks. It’s why he’s one of the best in the biz and in high demand from the likes of Bvlgari, Hermes, Chopard and Chanel.
Blending stories with illusion and tales with magic, he delights audiences despite the misdirections. You can try to catch him in the act at Siri House on Friday 14 October where audiences will also be treated to a three-course feast.
Get tickets to a three-course dinner and a magic show that will leave you in awe.
Using iPads and more, Alexander Yuen creates awe and wonder with objects appearing, transforming and disappearing from the screen with just—well, we’re not quite sure how. We just know that it’s going to be 60 minutes of wonder following a three-course feast at Singapore’s lifestyle, social and dining space.
In the cosy and comfortable living room lounge at Siri House, audiences will first get to tuck into a range of appealing appetisers that make way for one of five mains. From the Barramundi with oyster mushrooms to the doenjang glazed Beef Short Rib, or the Pork Secreto in a Thai-style marinade to the Unagi or Kabocha Risotto, the choice is not going to be easy to make.
Whichever you choose, make sure to leave room for dessert because either the Sicilian Pistachio served with brown butter crumble or the Tropical Tau Huay with macerated mango and chilli is going to be a divine finish to the first part of the evening. You can see the full menu here.
In the past, Alexander Yuen has performed his craft of digital magic for esteemed guests, celebrities and the President of Singapore. Crafting unique shows, you can expect to see attention to detail in every trick (digital and otherwise) and there’s every chance you might get to take part in an illusion or two as well.
The digital world is a new dimension in the world of illusions and Alexander Yuen is paving the way. See him perform live at Siri House in Singapore on Friday 14 October.
