A huge hit during its tour of Europe and North America, the experience has been visited by over 10 million people worldwide, and was named as one of CNN’s “Must-See” exhibitions, making it a Singapore highlight you won’t want to miss.
Tickets are on sale now, and there’s a special offer to celebrate Kid’s Day this year. With each adult ticket, grab 1 child’s ticket 50% off. This promo will last from October 2 to 6, meaning you’ll have to buy your tickets and attend between those dates. What are you waiting for? A magnificent world of LEGO® sculptures awaits!
The Art of the Brick exhibition has actually visited Singapore before, way back in 2012 when it sold half a million tickets – but this iteration of the exhibition is even bigger and better. The sculptures are the creations of Nathan Sawaya, a former lawyer turned renowned artist who works with LEGO® to take you beyond what you thought was possible with bricks, and create impressive, thought-provoking pieces of art. Amongst the 150 artworks set to feature at the Singapore experience will be Sawaya’s most famous work, ‘Yellow’, which seems countless LEGO® bricks cascading out of a human torso, as well as a giant T-Rex sculpture.
Art of the Brick also features recreations of classical artworks rendered in LEGO®, including the likes of Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Edvard Munch’s The Scream, and Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss. The amount of care and consideration that goes into each sculpture is truly mind-blowing; meanwhile, award-winning photographer Dean West has helped to produce a LEGO® multimedia collection specifically for Art of the Brick. The experience is sure to leave you with a newfound appreciation for the power of imagination.
Art of the Brick is now open at Singapore EXPO, where you’ll find it next door to the joyful Bubble Planet experience. In fact, you can visit both experiences on the same day for a special price with this useful Happiness Bundle, making for a truly memorable day of art and adventure!
Art of the Brick tickets start at $19.90 for adults, and $14.90 for children. And remember, if you buy tickets and visit the exhibition between October 2-6, with each adult ticket you can grab 1 child’s ticket 50% off. Student and senior ticket options are available, and there are group ticket bundles for 8 or more people. Get your tickets quickly , because this is going to be a very popular show unlike any other exhibition you’ve seen, one which demonstrates the power and creativity of LEGO® art!
