This 2001 animated comedy movie follows a reclusive ogre, Shrek, who embarks on a journey with a hilarious donkey to get fairytale creatures off his land. However, if he wants the creatures to leave, he must rescue Princess Fiona as part of a quest from an arrogant lord. Indeed, a nostalgic comedy movie to watch this weekend.
7. The War With Grandpa
Singaporeans are loving this comedy movie first released in 2020.It follows a comical tale between sixth-grader Peter and his grandfather Ed (Robert De Niro), who moves into his bedroom after being widowed. But, Peter is horrified so he plots a series of pranks to drive his strong-willed Grandpa out.
8. Lady Bird
This 2017 coming-of-age comedy showcases a turbulent mother and daughter relationship as Lady Bird navigates her final year of school while her mum works tirelessly as a nurse after her husband loses his job.

13. To All The Boys Trilogy
Follow Lara Jean in three blockbuster movies as she transcends from high school to adulthood. Indeed, she learns to navigate love, friendship, family troubles and much more. This 2021 Indian comedy-drama flick starring Kriti Sanon tells the tale of an aspiring actress in a small town in India, who agrees to be the surrogate mother for an American couple, in order to earn a sum of money. Though, things don’t go according to plan. Indeed, this movie will make you laugh your head off but also get you a tad bit emotional.

Though, Georgia’s past threatens any sort of possibility of a normal life. Amongst the emotion and drama, expect to get plenty of bellyaches filled with laughter.

22. Man VS Bee
Another new show the world can’t get enough of. Comically, a homeless man played by Rowan Atkinson (known for Mr Bean) finds a job as a house sitter at a luxurious home. 23. Sex Education
This sex comedy drama series is, arguably, the funniest show you will ever watch. Catch up on season one, two and three now which follows a teenage boy, Otis (Asa Butterfield) with an embarrassing sex therapist mother (Gillian Anderson). Otis, with help from a classmate, secretly and mistakenly sets up a sex therapy clinic at school in exchange for money.
