The renowned specialty coffee brand from California, Blue Bottle Coffee, is set to make its Southeast Asian debut by opening its first cafe in Singapore. The highly-anticipated outlet is set to open on April 3, 2025. Located at LUMINE Singapore in Raffles City Shopping Centre, the famous coffee brand brings its signature coffee experience to Singapore after its humble beginnings in Oakland, California more than 20 years ago. First Blue Bottle Coffee in Southeast Asia
Coffee lovers will be treated to the full brand experience in a welcoming space at LUMINE Singapore. The new cafe follows Blue Bottle’s initial foray into the Singapore market in August 2024 with a retail store and exhibition at the same location.
This new outlet will showcase the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, hospitality, and community, reflecting its approach to sourcing, roasting, and brewing coffee. Additionally, customers can enjoy expertly brewed signature single-origin coffees, hand-drip pours, and a seasonally-curated espresso menu in a minimalist setting.
The new 42-seater venue occupies 135-square-metres of space. Meanwhile, guests can connect over coffee and create meaningful experiences. The cafe will open from 8am to 10pm daily so it’s the perfect pit spot before work.
Wonderfully, the brand is one of the most recognised coffee names globally, so this reputation in itself will make a significant impact on Singapore’s thriving coffee culture.
In fact, this cafe marks a significant milestone for the brand, which has built a global presence, since its beginnings as a small coffee cart in Oakland in 2002 by James Freeman. Additionally, Japanese company LUMINE has facilitated the brand’s growth across various markets, from Korea to China, and including Singapore. While the brand thrives off support from Nestlé.
