Candlescape is a rare candle shop in Singapore selling handmade candles that realistically resembles food curated by founder of Anaya Soul Retreat, Annie Lin.
Located in Chinatown, Candlescape will have your mouth watering with the amount of unique candles resembling desserts and pastries like cakes and macaroons, ice cream, milkshakes, coffee, cocktails and plenty more.
Each colourful candle is eco-friendly and vegan made with all natural clean and customisable scents. Upon arrival, select from a droolworthy menu paralleling a restaurant menu. Highlights include the huge Ice Cream Dessert Candle ($48) in a glass, a delicious Tiramisu ($38), drinks from $28 like Whiskey, Bubble Tea and Ice Tea, to name a few.
Recently, the team have added 2kg Cakes and Afternoon Tea candles to the menu. Ironically, customers must be reminded persistently not to eat the candles with warning displays stating ‘Do Not Eat‘ scattered around the store.
Interestingly, the soy wax used in the candles is ideal for a slower burning. However, when your candle burns out, replace it with another candle of choice at a lower cost.
Those eager to learn how to make a delicious candle like this can take part in a 1-hour and 30 mins Dessert Candle workshop. Customers can customise their own candles with special scents. Indeed, the perfect team building exercise or fun with kids. Book here.
