Cat Bite Club is a superb new secret bar recently opened in Duxton Hill.
Concepted by renowned hospitality experts Jesse Vida and Gabriel Lowe, the cocktail bar celebrates agave and rice spirits, and offers a sophisticated drinking den in Singapore.
Cat Bite Club Singapore
The new cocktail bar is hidden behind a secret entrance, below a glowing red sign of a mischievous Cheshire cat grin. Additionally, the bar highlights personality traits of a cat – curious, excited, a little bit naughty – so visitors go on an exciting journey to discover agave and rice spirit beverages.
Operating Partners Vida and Lowe, started their careers together in San Francisco in 2007, and have a combined 30+ years of hospitality experience. Together, they saw a gap in the market in Singapore for agave bars back in 2018.
Drinks
The cocktail menu, designed by Mark Reidhill, blends cultures and flavour profiles from different parts of the globe, offering a wide range of crossover tastes, from Mexico to Southeast Asia, and beyond. The colourful collection of drinks tells the story of each spirit’s origin and character. Meanwhile, there’s a wide range of rice spirits and more than 100 different agave spirits to choose from.
Guests can enjoy signature cocktails from $24-26 such as Cat Bite Margarita using Código 1530 Blanco Tequila, Siete Misterios Espadín Mezcal, Cointreau, Fresh Citrus Blend, Agave Nectar and Sherry for agave, and the Soju Sprint with Tokki Soju, Peach, Honey, Mint, Fresh Citrus Blend, Sherry, Absinthe, Soda for rice, to name a few.
Interestingly, each classic cocktail can be paired with one agave variation and one rice variation.
Food
Guests can also enjoy a mix of Mexican and Asian cuisine, mirroring the drink flavours. From shared platters like Chili Chicken Bao ($15) to vegan bites, vegetarian options, and more. Certainly, it’s the perfect pairing with your drinks.
Definitely, Cat Bite Club needs to be on your radar this weekend for date night or even a group meal in Singapore.
