Airline Cathay Pacific is giving away 80,000 free round-trip Hong Kong flights tickets to residents across Southeast Asia this March. Of this, 12,500 tickets will be for Singaporeans.
The campaign will be launched in three phases in Southeast Asia. Tickets are up for grabs in Singapore between March 2 at 12pm and March 8 at 23.59pm. While winners will be announced on March 20, 2023. Each winner will receive one Economy Class round-trip ticket to Hong Kong.
This initiative is part of the World Of Winners Hello Hong Kong campaign, sponsored by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) – to encourage global travellers to visit China after more than three years of COVID-19 restrictions. In total, half a million tickets will be won worldwide in an effort to show China in a positive light after the pandemic.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board said in a statement that at least one million “Hong Kong Goodies” consumption vouchers will be given to tourists. Wonderfully, these vouchers can be used at more than 16,000 outlets across Hong Kong including free welcome drinks at participating bars, restaurants and hotels, as well as cash vouchers to redeem on retail offerings, transport and attractions.
