What to expect at the first Chipotle Mexican grill in Asia
The California-based company will open the restaurants through a joint venture with SPC Group. In fact, this is the South Korea-based food company who handles Shake Shack and Paris Baguette in Singapore.
This deal secures exclusive rights for SPC to launch Chipotle Singapore and Chipotle South Korea with menu offerings that closely match those in the United States. Meanwhile, opening dates, meus, and store locations are still under wraps.
Although, Chipotle Mexican Grill’s US menu centres on customisable classics, hearty salads, and quesadillas, where diners can choose from grilled chicken, honey chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, or plant-based sofritoes—all paired with signature toppings, from fajita veggies to cheeses, and more. Plus, there are children’s meals, alongside fruit juice drinks and margaritas for the adults.
