The first-ever, interactive sports climbing facility is set to open at Changi Airport this weekend. Climb@T3 launches on March 4 at Terminal 3, spanning Basement 2 and 3, as part of a continuous effort to excite visitors and transit passengers.
The family-friendly climbing attraction is managed by renowned The Rock School Singapore. It features state-of-the-art facilities, with a 12-metre long boulder wall, and an 8-metre-high rock climbing wall – which are suitable for both adults and children as young as two.
Impressively, the 8-metre High Wall was constructed by the official wall provider for the 2020 and 2024 Olympics. The wall boasts nine lanes, each equipped with auto belay systems, and more than 20 different rock-climbing routes, from beginner to difficult levels – perfect for all types of climbers.
Climbing enthusiasts will be able to attend range of free programmes and classes with experts. For instance, there is a Rock Tots programme, with activities and games, designed for children between aged two and six. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at Climb@T3.
Wonderfully, there will be sessions for those with special needs led by trained staff. Plus, climbers can rent harness and shoes at the centre.
Climb@T3 will operate from 12pm to 9.30pm on weekdays. While the facility will open from 10am to 9.30pm o weekends and public holidays. Make a booking via the Climb T3 website.
