A luxury British cruise ship company, Cunard, brought its new fleet Queen Anne on her maiden voyage to Singapore on March 24, 2025. The ship docked at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre for an overnight stay as part of her 107-night maiden world cruise. The inaugural visit marked a milestone for both Cunard and Singapore’s tourism sector. Additionally, it was announced that Queen Anne will offer one-way cruises from Singapore in 2026. Cunard’s Queen Anne cruises
Queen Anne is the first Cunard fleet built in 14 years and the second largest for Cunard. It spans 14 decks, hosting up to 3000 guests and 1200 crew members, alongside offering 15 dining options and other facilities. The massive cruise ship boasts colonial designs and retro-style facilities, elegant vintage finishings like crystal chandeliers, wooding, and checked tiles.
Guests are treated to a unique cruise experience part of the Pinnacle-class cruise liners. Notable features include a 2-deck theatre with 825 plush velvet seats, a scenic outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a grand atrium, a stunning 3-story space with a dynamic mural sculpture, casino, library, spa, children’s facilities, shopping hubs, bars, and much more. Meanwhile, guests can watch film screenings or take part in activities like dance classes.
Queen Anne began its service in May 2024 and it is set to visit more than 30 destinations across 20 countries this year. At the time of writing, it’s docked in Kuala Lumpur before heading to places like South Africa, Senegal, Spain’s Tenerife, among others.
