The Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) in Singapore has launched an exciting new family-friendly attraction called Curiosity Cove. (Renamed ACM & ME as of May 22, 2025) Located in the museum’s Contemporary Gallery, the vibrant play space is designed to engage children and families with Asian culture and interactive, sensory-rich activities. It opens to the public on May 23. And here’s the best part: it’s totally FREE. Here’s what we know about ACM & ME in Singapore.
ACM & ME – Singapore
Curiosity Cove (ACM & ME) features three creative zones—Who Am I?, What’s My Story?, and What Can I Create?— where visitors can delve into identity, storytelling, and imagination through hands-on play. The new attraction offers a range of artmaking activities like creating self-portraits, crafting mythical creatures, and making early animations.
Additionally, the new space offers movement and music fun, where children can dance under colourful lights and build imaginative worlds with giant soft blocks, and use fabric strips on a unique weaving wall. Meanwhile, the design incorporates expert input from the Ministry of Education’s Early Learners Framework and the Singapore Association for Mental Health’s wellbeing prompts to ensure the space supports child development and emotional health.
Wonderfully, the new space has a capacity for up to 60 people and is thoughtfully designed to accommodate families with stroller access, padded floors, and calm corners for breaks. Certainly, you can’t miss this cultural and education interactive environment for people of all ages.
ACM & ME is free entry for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents. Plus, they will host a number of family-friendly programmes for ACM’s Children’s Season this June 2025. Perfect for over the school holidays!
