At D1 Racing’s Sentosa Palawan Beach Grand Prix we found out that racing drones are fast and that they’re agile. They maneuver at break-neck speeds over land and water, through and around obstacles, and the action is exhilarating. You’ll be able to catch all the thrills, spills and breathtaking near-misses once again at the upcoming D1 Racing Marina Barrage Grand Prix.
Strapped into first-person viewing displays, Asia’s best racing drone pilots will navigate the 3D course which contains the world’s first section (for an event of this size) flying over a man-made body of water. You’ll see all the soaring action live and experience what’s making drone racing the premier e-sport around the world right here in Singapore as the sun sets over the marina.

Since forming in late 2019, D1 Racing is at the forefront of the high-flying live-action e-sport in Asia. The league this year is heating up and the pilots—from Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and beyond—are in fierce competition heading into this next round of high-flying drone racing.
From the starting line they’ll take off and hit speeds of more than 90km/h over land and water while racing through led-lit checkpoints, over trees and beneath elevated walkways. One small mistake and a drone can be out of the race or even lost in the night. Just like at the Sentosa Palawan Beach GP, there’s no margin for error at D1 Racing Marina Barrage Grand Prix. Don’t miss any of the action.
There’ll be close calls and electrifying flying as the pilots make their way through the qualifying rounds in the afternoon and into the main drone race as the glorious sun is setting over Singapore. Multiple racing drones will zip and whir around the course for the position at the top of the podium and you’ll soon understand why the sport has exploded in popularity. The D1 Racing league is where the best of the best in Asia compete.
The afternoon event on Sunday 10 July will also see acoustic and vocal performances as well as a 5G drone launch between the qualifying rounds and the GP race. A live street drumming show will close out the evening, which is shaping up to be a thriller at Marina Barrage.
You don’t want to miss out on this race where there’s a lot more riding on the line—in the championship and for drone racing worldwide. VIP tickets get you access to air-conditioned tents, complimentary cocktails and a one-to-one drone coaching experience.
Tickets start from S$60.
