This is just the end of year gist we needed after all 2020 has thrown at us. And, the best part is that it is a gift in the truest sense, because admission is completely free. The time-travelling fun will give us a wonderful few months and we’ll forever be in gratitude.
Talking of time-travelling, we could have done with a bit of that all year round, couldn’t we? Well, we can all play pretend and get some wonderful pictures at one of the fourteen statues on the lawn outside the National Museum of Singapore, where the exhibition is held.
Lucky visitors are in for a treat. They’ll have the chance to gawk at the “gadgets of the future”, which is a nice juxtaposition given these are also the gadgets that defined our childhood watching. These include the shrink ray and doc-in-a-box.
Hygiene regulations will be enforced for all visitors to help combat Covid-19. A maximum of five people, from the same household, can take photos with the statues at one time. Plus, visitors will be asked not to touch the installations.
