Elephant Grounds, the cult-favourite Hong Kong cafe brand, is officially landing in Singapore this weekend. Opening on January 10, an Elephant Grounds flagship will debut at Guoco Midtown on Beach Road. The specialty coffee and lifestyle concept is famous across Asia for its relaxed coffee n chill ethos, Japanese-influenced food, and design-forward, green spaces that feel like an urban sanctuary rather than just a cafe. The debut of this all-day dining concept is hot news in Singapore. Here’s what to expect.
Why is Elephant Grounds Singapore a must-visit cafe in 2026?
Elephant Grounds was founded in 2013 before growing into one of Hong Kong’s most recognizable lifestyle cafe concepts—making it a must-visit cafe in 2026 for in-house roasted beans, signature espressos, bakery goodies, viral ice cream sandwiches, relaxed brunches, and more. In fact, the brand has built a loyal following in cities like Manila, Tokyo, and Beijing so we expect the Singapore flagship to earn the same type of cult energy.

The main highlight at the cafe is in-house roasted coffee and an excellent coffee programme featuring blends sourced from Ijen Lestari, as well as premium single-origin coffees selected for balance, clarity, and character.
Beyond the coffee, Elephant Grounds is designed as an urban oasis with warm timber, lush greenery, and a pet-friendly patio that encourages lingering—whether you are working, catching up with friends, or hanging out with kids while tucking into their famous ice cream sandwiches.

Menu highlights include acai yoghurt bowls, Asian-influenced comfort dishes like donburi, freshly baked pastries, signature croissants, basic brunch favourites like shakshuka, and drooling burgers, to name a few. Wonderfully, the Singapore cafe will open from 8am to 8pm daily.
