A new ferry service between Singapore and Desaru Coast in Johor will commence soon.
Indeed, a new ferry route from Singapore to the dreamy beach resort of the Desaru Coast in Johor Bahru will launch soon.
According to CNA, the ferry service will go direct from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal in Malaysia, with a travel time of around 90 minutes.
Subsequently, Batam Fast Ferry and Desaru Coast announced that there will be one round trip daily between Monday and Wednesday, while two round trips will be available each day from Thursday to Sunday.
Excellently, the ferry route service to Desaru Coast can carry between 150 to 338 passengers. Certainly, this new ferry service will be a huge boost for tourism in the area.
However, the start date for the Singapore to Desaru Coast route is yet to be announced due to COVID-19 border controls in both countries. Although, Malaysia is set to reopen its borders on April 1. Hopefully, it will commence in April.
