There’s nothing quite like the lead-up to Christmas, as twinkling holiday lights and festive cheer spreads all over the city. This year, there is a truly magical candlelight experience coming to Singapore – trust us when we say, you won’t want to miss out on attending one of these events at the Four Seasons.
What is the event series?
To really kick off the festive season, the Four Seasons will be hosting a range of festive Candlelight concerts, with music performances by a string quartet made up of talented local musicians. From all the Christmas classics to favourite hits from ABBA and Joe Hisaishi, there’s a concert for all music tastes.
What can I expect from a Candlelight concert at the Four Seasons?
A Candlelight concert is always a magnificent experience, but this particular series is even more special due to the elegant setting of the Four Seasons hotel. The glow of twinkling candles and hearing a classical take on your favourite tunes makes for a truly magical night. On participating nights, concerts will take place twice, so there is plenty of opportunity to make it to a show at the time that suits best. With the exception of the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the main lobby, all concerts will take place in the Four Seasons Ballroom, which overlooks Orchard Boulevard.

December 19 – Christmas Classics (7pm and 9pm)
January 9 – The Best of Joe Hisaishi (7pm and 9pm)
January 18 – Tribute to ABBA (6.30pm) and Tribute to Queen and More (8.30pm)
What happens at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony?
To kick off this Christmas series, a very special tree lighting ceremony will take place at the hotel on December 1. On this evening, the gorgeous grand staircase will be completely illuminated with candles, which are the perfect backdrop for a festive Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Following this, the string quartet will perform all the Christmas hits. To us, that sounds like the most perfect way to begin the festive month.
