Free masks for everyone in Singapore.
Hopefully, you’ve all got some kind of mask available to you. You probably don’t need to be told how essential they are in slowing down the spread of Covid-19. [Featured Image: Macau Photo Agency, Unsplash].
Because of this, everyone in Singapore who needs them will receive a pair of free masks. If more are required, they can be preordered. Thanks to Temasek Foundation (TF), the free masks will roll out before the end of the month, as part of their StayMasked campaign.
DIY masks and reusable masks — in both adult and children sizes — are available to claim. Masks will available for free until October 4.
The news has been confirmed by Ho Ching, CEO of TF. More information about the scheme can also be found in his post.
So, you’ll need to bring documentation with a government barcode along with you to the collection point, then you’ll be masked up and good to go! Children under-12 will also need to show their student pass, birth certificate or FIN card.
Pre-orders for extra masks can be complete via the TF site, starting this Sunday (September 13).
