McDonald’s will give away a strange viral food hack from Australia on June 9 in Singapore.
Singaporeans eager to try the Oreo McFlurry Hash Brown Sandwiches duo, taking the internet by storm and made famous on TikTok, can visit two McDonald’s outlets in Singapore.
Wonderfully, McDonald’s at Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are giving away free Do-It-Yourself Oreo McFlurry Hash Brown Sandwiches on June 9 only.
The combination includes a creamy Oreo McFlurry and two crispy, toasty hash browns. Absurdly, these hash browns are normally eaten for breakfast.
Interestingly, the trend is being tested across the world since Australian Influencer Kelly Arvan posted a video on TikTok lathering an Oreo McFlurry between two hash browns before eating it. To date, her video received nearly one million views, with TikTok users commenting their fascination for the idea.
How It Works
Those hoping to get a free sandwich must visit the outlets between 9am and 11am. There are 50 redemptions per location – given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Visitors must show this McDonald’s Instagram post announcing the experimental food hack to redeem the offer.
Although, we suspect you’ll need to queue for hours, given the Instagram post’s popularity, to bags yourself one of these drooling sweet and savoury sandwiches. Certainly, you’ll either love or hate it, but it’s definitely worth the try.
