Hong Kong superstar Jacky Cheung has added three more shows to his scheduled July tour, after selling out six concerts this week, in Singapore. Cheung lands in Singapore on July 14, for the first time since 2018, for a total of nine shows as part of the Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour.
The tour will take place at Indoor National Stadium across three weekend in July to give every fan a chance to grab tickets. The first six shows are scheduled to kick off at 8pm between July 14 to 16 and July 21 to 23. But now, Cheung has added an additional three concerts between July 28 and 30.
Concert promoter Unusual Entertainment said that Singapore will be Cheung’s second stop on the world tour, after it begins in Macao in June. Plus, the theme of this year’s concerts is Water possibly representing the sixth decade of the star’s life.
Interestingly, the God of Songs is renowned for hosting hundreds of shows at once the past three decades, and naming his shows based on numbers. For instance, the 60+ name is symbolic because Cheung actually turns 62 in July.
This July, bop along to canto-pop tunes from You Said It, Wishing To Follow You All My Life, Goodbye Kiss, to Another Ten Years, and much more.
Tickets for the additional three Jacky Cheung concerts in Singapore go on sale on May 3 at 12pm. Tickets begin at $168. Purchase yours via Ticketmaster.
