Meanwhile, shoppers can get exclusive Nintendo merchandise. Here’s what we know about the Super Mario event running at Jewel until July 2025.
Mario Kart Jewel Circuit Challenge
The Mario Kart Jewel Circuit Challenge has transformed Jewel into a real-life Rainbow Road. Running until July 24, the whimsical race course inspired by the Mario Kart 8 Game Series gives visitors the opportunity to explore many dynamic installations. The circuit challenge features Mario, Luigi, and the entire kart-racing crew set against the backdrop of Forest Valley and the majestic Jewel Rain Vortex.
Get ready to be wowed by a showstopping installation at the entrance to Forest Valley. This massive centrepiece, measuring 5 metres by 4 metres, is one of the largest displays ever featured at Jewel Changi Airport. Watch vibrant lights race across the curved platform, recreating moments from Rainbow Road, while the familiar Mario Kart music plays in the background. Additionally, you can’t miss the huge 1.3 metre tall Banana – a classic photo op along the Mario Kart obstacle. Certainly, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a Mario Kart game.
Nintendo Pop-Up Store
The only Nintendo Pop-Up Store outside Japan and offers fans more than 500 items including more than 150 new and exclusive merchandise, as well as popular games by Nintendo. Fans can grab beloved games like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and epic adventures of The Legend of Zelda, as well as items like Splatoon and Pikmin. Meanwhile, limited-edition Nintendo themed tees commemorating the Jewel store’s opening are on sale.
The Jewel Nintendo pop-up is located on Level 4 and runs until July 24. In fact, this pop-up store first delighted fans back in 2023 when it launched in Singapore, so it is expected to draw in a high number of customers.
Other Mario Kart experiences
Visitors can score an exclusive Mario Kart sticker pack by collecting six stamps hidden at Mario Kart installations on Level 1 to 5 at Jewel. Each sticker pack comes in a blind box containing a random mix of one character and three power-up items. Certainly, an exciting thing to do with children over the school holidays.
