The astounding Mirror Mirror – Journey Into the Mind opened at the Art Science Museum at Marina Bay Sands on March 8, and I was fortunate enough to visit. From the moment I walked into the venue, I was instantly transported into a world like no other. This immersive and interactive experience offers a sensory journey that intertwines art, technology and the creativity of the human mind. My visit into the unknown at Mirror Mirror – Journey Into the Mind
My adventure at Mirror Mirror – Journey Into the Mind began right at the entrance, where I was faced with three doors, each leading down a unique path. I felt an instant rush of curiosity and excitement about where this choice would take me. It was a charming way to kick off my experience, and lead into the first of eight immersive rooms.
The environment reacted to every action I took, making me feel immersed in a space where my choices truly mattered. I shared a memory through an app within the Memory Storage room, and before I knew it, my words flickered and lit up the space around me, becoming part of a larger collection of thoughts and memories from other visitors. It was deeply personal and yet collective, as though I were contributing to an evolving story.

I got to take part in a modern and dynamic tarot reading in the Mirrors of Tomorrow room, which I was definitely a fan of. This was followed by the Open Windows Room, which used artificial intelligence to turn my words into poetry and visuals creating mesmerising art. The Forest of Echoes absolutely stunned me. This room was filled with mirrors that reflected endless versions of me, whilst surrounded by streams of lights. Wandering through this maze was like navigating a forest of infinite perspectives, and while it was visually striking, the emotional depth is what really made it stand out.
The Moodscape room enveloped me in a swirling haze of colours, invoking a sense of calm and giving me a space to relax and reset. It was a beautiful moment of peace that served as a reprieve from any tension. The final room was the Brainstorm, which invited me to engage with a different kind of creativity. I was handed a ball and threw it against a reactive wall, watching in awe as it created a vibrant mural of colorful light collages. It was a joyful celebration of imagination, and the perfect way to end my adventure at Mirror Mirror – Journey Into the Mind.
