Miss Universe Singapore is now welcoming a wider pool of contestants, in a bid to be more inclusive, for its annual beauty pageant in 2024. The eligibility criteria has expanded to allow all Singaporean women above the age of 18 and married women, divorced women, and women with children to compete in the competition this year.
Last year’s competition was only open to women between the ages of 18 and 28 and who were single. Wonderfully, the upper age limited has been removed too. To apply for Miss Universe 2024, contestants must at least 18 years old, based in Singapore and have resided here for at least six months prior to September 1, 2024. Certainly, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity ambitious and confident women in Singapore.
About MUS 2024
Miss Universe Singapore is the official preliminary to Miss Universe®. One lucky Singaporean woman will be crowned Miss Universe Singapore this season, before going on to proudly present the country at the International Miss Universe Competition in Mexico, in September 2024.
MUS 2024 is jointly organised by Malaysian company Beyond Entity, King Kong Media Production led by Singaporean actor Mark Lee, and national director Elaine Daly.
The winner will receive a platform to inspire and opportunities in the entertainment industry. Additionally, a top cash prize of $10,000 and as mentioned they will represent the nation at the International Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
