The Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) has officially reopened its doors in Singapore following a highly-anticipated revamp, that promises a better immersive experience for all visitors than before. Located in Dempsey, the refreshed MOIC boasts a vibrant wonderland of colour, creativity, and of course, unlimited ice cream. The museum temporarily closed its doors for renovations earlier this month. Here’s what we know about the new Museum of Ice Cream in Singapore.
The newly-imagined space takes guests on a one-of-a-kind journey through dessert-themed zones filled with interactive installations, immersive workshops, and unlimited treats. Step inside its signature 25,000 square foot pink paradise for imaginative play and activities that spark joy. Interestingly, MOIC Singapore has welcomed more than half a million visitors since opening in 2021 and earned major accolades, including Klook’s Best in Experience Award 2023 and TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award.
What are the new experiences?
The new pink playground features 14 interactive installations, including the debut of Singapore’s first-ever banana maze, a massive pink bouncy castle, a kaleidoscopic mirror world of lights and music, and an all-new indoor carnival complete with nostalgic games and an animal cookie ride. Meanwhile, guests can indulge on up to 19 different ice cream flavours – from classics like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to unique local offerings like Denzy Gelato – with unlimited servings included in the ticket price for the first time.
Other never-seen-before highlights are free workshops from May 3 to 25 on keychain making, squishy painting, and edible slime activities. Plus, there’s a new MOIC passport activity booklet that guides guests through their visit blending education, exploration, and entertainment.
Here’s a list of the new attractions at MOIC Singapore:
- Singapore’s Pinkest Indoor Carnival
- California Dreamin Ice Cream Journey
- Bouncy Castle & Infinity Mirror Party Zone
- Singapore’s First-Ever Banana Maze
- MOIC Passport
Several beloved attractions from the original museum still remain such as the iconic Sprinkle Pool, which is the largest in Asia, as well as the vibrant Unicorn Playground, and interactive Ice Cream Stations.
The ice cream attraction is modelled after the ones in New York and Miami which have captured the hearts of stars from Kim Kardashian to David Beckham, Beyonce, and more.
Certainly, it’s one of the most instagrammable destinations in Singapore and perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking to rediscover their inner child. Tickets begin at $35 and there are special promotions for Singapore residents.
