Asia’s skies just got a lot more whimsical now that travellers have a brand-new reason to get excited about their next long-haul escape. Picture this: stepping onto a mega jet where your journey begins in the world of Zootopia—with Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and friends playfully splashed across the exterior and woven into every tiny design on board. And yes, you can really do this, thanks to an airline collaboration between Disney and China Airlines. Travellers can hop on one of Asia’s unique Disney themed aircrafts—a Boeing 777-300ER fleet—from Taiwan on a trip to Los Angeles or other locations in Asia. Here’s what we know.
Why is the Zootopia plane worth planning a trip overseas?
Travellers across Asia dreaming of a Disney adventure in the sky can now hop on the Zootopia 2 plane from Taipei in Taiwan. It made its inaugural flight on November 19 as flight CI006 from Taipei Taoyuan to Los Angeles and has since had regular scheduled Zootopia 2 flights on this route.
Excitingly, China Airlines has confirmed there are themed jet flights now available to Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka, and Ontario—creating multiple connection opportunities for travellers from Singapore.

The immersive Disney experience begins at the airport with themed Zootopia boarding passes, baggage tags, and check-in materials all designed around the movie’s vibrant aesthetic. Following this, travellers onboard are treated to Zootopia-branded headrest covers, tray mats, snack packaging, cups, coasters, and access to the original Zootopia films in the in-flight entertainment system. Meanwhile, the fuselage is wrapped with fan-favourite characters for extra excitement.
Additionally, China Airlines is offering exclusive toys for kids on these flights, including sticker sets a special balloon that inflates into a mini Zootopia aircraft. Whether you’re a family or a Disney lover, Taiwan’s first Disney Zootopia 2 aircraft is a must-do experience.
