The Community Development Councils (CDCs) have officially launched the Walking Trails @ CDC (Heritage Edition), in partnership with the National Heritage Board. The second installment of the popular initiative introduces five brand-new routes across the island (each roughly 4km to 4.6km long). In an effort to promote the national Healthier SG movement, these walking trails turn a standard workout into a scavenger hunt. Interestingly, participants navigate digital checkpoints via the CrowdTaskSG platform to unlock bite-sized heritage stories, interactive trivia, and rare digital mascots. And the best part is that you can earn up to $75 in vouchers. Here’s what we know.
Why is everyone joining the new heritage walking trails?
The primary draw beyond fitness is the significant financial incentive for locals. By completing a trail and its associated tasks, participants earn a $5 RedeemSG voucher. Additionally, those who spot all of the six Ollies—the CDC’s digital owl mascots hidden along the route—receive an extra $10 reward. Wonderfully, these vouchers can be used at participating heartland shops and major supermarkets like FairPrice, Cold Storage, and more.

These new trails are located in Kampong Glam, Tampines, Woodlands, Bedok, and Jurong—so residents can earn up to $75 in total rewards ($15 per trail). Beyond the free money, these trails are perfect for rediscovering Singapore’s evolving landscape. For instance, the Kampong Glam trail takes walkers from the Peranakan Museum to the iconic Sultan Mosque, while the Bedok trail traces military landmarks, and the Jurong trail offers a scenic route through the Chinese Gardens in the west.
Here’s the new 2026 walking trails listed:
- Central Trail (Kampong Glam): Starting from Perankan Museum to Jalan Besar Stadium.
- North East Trail (Tampines): Starting from Tampines East MRT to Tampines Central Park.
- North West Trail (Woodlands): Starting from Woodlands North MRT to Marsiling Lane Market.
- South East Trail (Bedok): Starting from Former Coastline to Simpang Bedok.
- South West Trail (Jurong): Starting from Jurong Town Hall to Taman Jurong Market.
Importantly, only Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 15 and above are eligible for rewards. Each participant must have a Singpass account and a CrowdTaskSG account. Access the trails here. Plus, rewards are limited to the first 5,000 participants per trail.
Whether you are a history buff or just looking to hit your 10,000 steps, these walking trails in Singapore offer a unique way to bond with family or friends while cashing in on rewards.
