Ocean Restaurant is an iconic dining destination and the only underwater restaurant in Southeast Asia. Launched almost 10 years ago at Resorts World Sentosa, it closed its doors in January for refurbishments.
Wonderfully, Ocean Restaurant recently reopened unveiling a sleek new interior and a new menu curated by its new two Michelin-starred French Chef, Oliver Bellin, helming the kitchen.
The beautiful 50-seater restaurant just so happens to be one of the most romantic dining eateries in Singapore. It features a dining room surrounded by over 40,000 marine life from S.E.A Aquarium’s wall-wide glass tanks which is the largest oceanarium globally. From manta rays to sharks swimming feet from you…it’s one of the most unique dining experiences on the planet.
Ocean Restaurant’s new interiors takes inspiration from manta rays. With a deep sea colour palette in a blue and stone setting, minimalist silver pendant lights, timber finishes on the ceiling and walls, plush carpet and cosy dining chairs…it’s the ultimate upgrade.
Firstly, guests can sip refreshing French-inspired cocktails from the revamped bar before dinner. Plus, those who enjoy wine can order one of over 400 award-winning wines from the new wine cellar.
Chef Bellin’s new menu focuses on seafood with a modern European twist and a commitment to sustainable gastronomy. Using local produce and responsibly-sourced seafood, Chef Bellin has created authentic new dishes inspired by the marine world in front of guests.
