Huge news for local pop culture fans! The beloved Pokémon Center SINGAPORE Store at Jewel Changi Airport is reopening with a huge, first-of-its-kind makeover. Prepare to be wowed at the first full-scale renovation at an official store outside of Japan on July 1, 2026. The Singapore store will debut a stunning, local-infused interior that celebrates Singapore’s unique cultural heritage. Fans will be greeted by a bold and dynamic new facade featuring Pikachu and the legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo serving as a new symbol, along with other beautiful displays, and photo spots. Here’s what we know.
What can we expect at the revamped Pokémon store?
This exciting new chapter for the store sees Solgaleo’s sun-like mane frame a gorgeous display evoking Singapore’s iconic skyline—making it the ultimate instagrammable photo spot for locals and tourists alike.
Additionally, the back of the store now boasts a dedicated event space equipped with a large-format monitor, perfectly designed to host video game, trading card game (TCG), and app gaming community events.
Meanwhile, the store will drop a curated lineup of 20 brand-new, Singapore-exclusive commemorative merchandise items to celebrate the grand reopening. Plus, the first wave of 12 items will launch on opening day, featuring adorable Pikachu and Solgaleo plushies alongside local culture-inspired kopi cup designs. Following this, there’ll be a second wave in August featuring must-have Pikachu and kopi cup bag charm.

The grand reopening of Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is expected to draw massive crowds. So there will be special admission rules during the first five days of opening from July 1 to 5, 2026.
Those who want to shop during the morning slots from 10am to 1pm must secure an advanced reservation via the Store Visit Application (more information to be announced via Instagram). For entry from 1pm onwards, same-day queue entry tickets will be distributed on-site on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 8.30am.
