Singapore Comic Con is returning from 4th to 6th December at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Level 1 & Basement 2, where the largest groups of heroes, villains, gamers, collectors, artists, and oh-so-wonderfully enthusiastic geeks convene to celebrate all things pop-culture and nerdy! Gather ’round for a celebration of fandom
For geek-culture enthusiasts and frequent con-goers, there’s one thing we can all agree on. There’s nothing like walking into a conference hall filled with superheroes, anime icons, Jedi, elves, and at least one person wearing a costume so elaborate you actually question if they’ve arrived from another world (yes, we mean you in your full set of Power Armor). Browse collectables, explore comic and gaming content from around the world and dive into fan-focused zones with plenty of engaging activities. Whatever corner of the nerdverse you call home, there’s a good chance you’ll find your people here.
Singapore Comic Con also offers the chance to meet special guests from the worlds of comics, gaming, anime and entertainment. This is your chance to grab a photo, collect an autograph or simply interact with someone whose work has captivated you and fuelled your fandom. If you’re more comfortable wielding a controller than a lightsaber, the convention will feature tons of gaming content and an esports arena showcasing local and regional leagues. And of course, there will be plenty of food and beverages available on-site to replenish your health bar when it starts to run low.
Cosplayers, this is your time to shine
Comic Con without cosplay would be like a superhero without an origin story, nowhere near as exciting. Singapore Comic Con invites fans to arrive dressed as their favourite comic-book hero (or villain, if that’s your vibe), anime character, video game legend or creature from another realm. You could find yourself queuing beside Harley Quinn and The Joker, comparing accessories with Astarion, striking the iconic “point” pose with other Spider-Men, or watching an entire platoon of Stormtroopers march across the convention floor.
The cosplay competition takes that creativity to the next level, giving talented fans a platform to show off their craftsmanship, performance skills and commitment to becoming their chosen character. If your own costume consists of a graphic tee and comfortable sneakers, you’ll have plenty of fun watching beloved characters escape the screen and parade the stage.

Part of Comic Con’s magic is that you don’t need an encyclopaedic knowledge of every fictional universe, and nobody is going to quiz you on obscure lore before letting you in. It’s a safe space to discover new artists, admire incredible costumes, find unique collectibles, watch tournaments and spend a weekend surrounded by people who understand why these fictional worlds mean so much to us.
