We made the top five!
Singapore has been ranked as the fifth-best city in the whole world for expats.
As you’d expect, us folks at Secret Singapore know all too well how amazing this city is, as we’re sure you do. But, it’s nice to be recognised all the same, isn’t it?
Internations ranked the best and worst places for expat life, in a study of 66 cities. Singapore pipped Malaga (Spain), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Madrid (Spain) and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) – all of whom completed places 6-10 – to the top five spot.
However, Singapore missed out on that top spot, which was taken by beachside Spanish city, Valencia. Alicante (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal) and Panama City (Panama) completed the top four, respectively.
And, the bottom places has a few unexpected surprises. Salmiya in Kuwait came in last, followed closely by Italian and South Korean capitals Rome and Seoul, plus Milan (Italy), Nairobi (Kenya) and Paris (France).
Let’s get that number one spot next time!
