
The government is providing various financial assistance measures to help citizens cope with rising living costs in Singapore this year. The Singapore Government Payout 2025 includes key initiatives such as the Assurance Package (AP) Bonus for seniors, the GTS Voucher Scheme, and MediSave top-ups worth up to $150 for eligible Singaporeans in February 2025. Government Payout 2025 Eligibility
These financial support schemes aim to help rising costs of living for lower and middle-income families in Singapore.
Eligible Singaporean seniors receive AP Seniors’ Bonus totaling $600 to $900 over the past three years under the Assurance Package. Meanwhile, MediSave top-ups have been given to provide healthcare cost relief for the young and elderly totaling $450 over three years until February 2025.
According to the Ministry of Finance Singapore, the government payout 2025 eligibility is as followed:
Around 850,000 lower-income senior Singapore citizens, aged 55 and above, will receive cash payouts of $200 to $300 as early as February 5, 2025. These payments will be made via PayNow-NRIC. This AP Seniors Bonus cash benefit will be given to seniors residing in Singapore who:
- Do not own more than one property
- live in homes with Annual Value (AV) of up to $31,000
- Have an Assemble Income (AU) not exceeding $34,000
AP MediSave: All Singaporeans aged 20 years and below, as well as those 55 years and above, will receive $150 Assurance Package MediSave top-ups in February 2025. These payments will be automatically made into their CPF accounts by February 11, 2025. In fact, this government payout support scheme will help up to two million people.
Eligible recipients of these benefits will be notified via SMS or letter after payments have been credited in February 2025. Meanwhile, all AP MediSave recipients aged 16 and below will receive a letter addressed to their parents or guardian informing them of the benefit received.
