Sentosa is kicking the adrenaline up a notch with the sound of hundreds of motocross riders ripping around sandy corners and flying down straights on Siloso Beach. For fans of the extreme sport, it’s music to their ears. For the uninitiated, be prepared to grab onto the edge of your seat because nothing quite matches the power-to-weight ratio of dirt bikes and you’re going to be in awe.
Beginners and amateurs will be testing out their skills while the professionals will be pushing out every last little bit of speed and power their motocross machines can give them. Fans across the weekend will be able to see how MotoAmerica Pro Riders Jamie Astudillo and Alex Ray do it and whether others are able to match them down the straight, through the air and across the “whoops”. One small mistake can end the day for any rider.
The Singapore MX Beach Race takes place on the weekend of Saturday 25 June and Sunday 26 June. Day one is all practice and press conferences with the stars while day two is Race Day. There are two ticket types available, with two-day passes so you can see all the fun or race day entry only with DJs, live music and plenty of food and drink options. You won’t be short of entertainment.
