After almost two years of border measures, Singapore will welcome all fully-vaccinated travellers for quarantine-free travel next week.
Singapore’s multi-ministry task force announced that Singapore will welcome all vaccinated travellers from next week. On April 1, all travellers with proof of vaccination and non-vaccinated children under 12 will be welcomed to Singapore for quarantine-free travel.
Wonderfully, visitors will not need to apply for the Vaccinated Travel Pass to enter Singapore.
Additionally, travellers will not have to book designated VTL flights or ferries. Equally, the covid-19 antigen requirement within 24 hours of arrival will be scrapped. Certainly, after two years of strict border measures, this is a step in the right direct.
However, a pre-departure covid-19 test is necessary for all travellers. Likewise, unvaccinated visitors and long-term pass holders aged 13 or above are not allowed to enter Singapore. Although, exemptions are made for those with medical ineligibility.
