In his Monday (December 14) statement, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said that an initial shipment of vaccines would likely arrive in late December. The announcement came prior to handing over to the multi-ministerial task force.
The government also said they expect other vaccines to arrive in Singapore over the coming months, with Lee adding “If all goes according to plan, we will have enough vaccines for everyone in Singapore by 3Q2021.”
More news will follow when an exact date and details for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine rollout is announced.
