About time!
Us Singaporeans know all to well that when it rains here, it rains. That’s been pretty much a constant reminder for the past two weeks. [Featured Image: Yeo Khee, Unsplash].
But, the heavens have granted us some respite! Turns out we might just be in luck, with warm temperatures and clear skies on the way for the remainder of January.
The Meteorological Service of Singapore (MSS) said on January 15 that the last two weeks of the month will be warm and dry.
And, we can expect some nice sunshine along with that, with clear skies and temperatures rising up to 34°C on days with light wind.
A few days can still expect some rainfall and thunder due to the strong heat, but we’re largely in for a good few weeks weather-wise, so make the most of it!
If this holds true, rainfall for January is still due to well above normal, purely because of the first two weeks of 2021. Yeah, it was that bad.
But, for now, let’s enjoy the sunshine in our wonderful city!
