Singapore’s festival calendar is set for a major revival this year. Excitingly, the first-ever Somewhere Out There Festival lands at Fort Canning Park on August 16—and it’s set to be epic. Festival goers can expect Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Bonobo to headline the music and arts festival which promises a bold, sensory playground uniting international stars, homegrown music collectives, immersive art installations, and creative food experiences. Wonderfully, this will happen in one single, vibrant day from 2pm to 10.30pm this weekend. Here’s what to expect at the inaugural music and arts festival in Singapore.
Somewhere Out There Festival 2025 debut
Organised by award-winning experiential agency Fabrik Asia, the team behind acclaimed shows like Boiler Room Singapore and Jamie XX, the 1-day festival aims to rekindle the spirit of togetherness that once defined Singapore’s music and arts scene. Excitingly, there will be three thoughtfully-curated stages—Evermore, Roots, and Canopy—where attendees can journey through a diverse soundscape.
Get ready for Bonobo’s signature blend of electronica and soul, as well as the infectious beats of local collectives like GrooveTop, Ice Cream Sundays and Blackout Agency. Plus, there will be a photography co-curation by Wild Pearl Studio at the Canopy Stage featuring a sanctuary for self-expression, wellness, and creative exploration.
Other highlights include South Korean alternative K-pop band Balming Tiger, Dutch R&B artist RIMON, electrifying MXGPU, and local acts like YAO and RAAJ, to name a few. See the full lineup here.

Additionally, festival goers can look forward to interactive installations for instagrammable moments, live art by renowned local artists like Erikartoon and glitter queen Polina Korobova, talks by industry leaders, and a showcase of the best local food in Singapore.
Meanwhile, there will be an exclusive afterparty at Rasa Space. It will feature performances by Kunda, Raja Rani, and Roshan.
