We promise you won’t die in this challenge.
Like most of the world, Singaporeans are absolutely absorbing Netflix’s new hit South Korean show, Squid Game. The unmissable, disturbing series follows a group of cash-strapped, desperate individuals, who participate in traditional children’s games, in an effort to win millions of dollars, and a clean slate.
Following the shows release almost two weeks ago, cool attractions dedicated to the series are popping up all over the world, including right here in Singapore.
Brown Butter Café have jumped on the Squid Game hype, and started the Honeycomb Challenge. Featured in episode three, the replica game involves customers selecting between three shapes, a circle, star or heart, which are carved into honeycomb candy canvas. To be successful, customers have two minutes to cut out a shape without breaking it.
If you are victorious, you’ll get to pick a prize card, to win an awesome prize. For example, you could win Ali’s pebbles, a free latte, Sang Woo’s marbles, and more. Brown Butter Café are warning that anyone who fails, will be punished. But, we don’t think death is in on your cards for this one.
Excitingly, you have until October 24 to take part in this challenge. Equally, we can only expect that Squid Game‘s world domination will prompt an array of attractions dedicated to the show globally, and here in Singapore.
