The acclaimed State Ballet of Georgia is set to debut in Singapore with its timeless ballet classic Swan Lake next week. The highly-anticipated showcase will take place from September 11 to 14, 2025 at Sands Theatre in Marina Bay Sands. In fact, it’s the first time the Tbilisi-based company will come to Singapore in its 175-year history. Under the artistic direction of former prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili, the company brings its renowned lavish production, featuring a cast of 70 dancers, exquisite sets, and breathtaking costumes. Tchaikovsky’s iconic score is brought to life through choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, with staging by Alexei Fadeyechev and Ananiashvil.
