The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” arrived in Singapore on Thursday, December 5th for the first time, after touring across 30 cities around the world. We had the fortunate opportunity to visit the exhibition and see Banksy’s work up close. Without further ado, here’s our review on this anticipated show, held at Fever Exhibition Hall in Orchard.
Our thoughts on the fascinating The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” exhibition
Upon walking in, we were instantly transported into Banksy’s world, beginning with the striking recreation of the “Walled Off Hotel” display, serving as the gateway to this extraordinary experience. With every step deeper into the exhibition, we were drawn in by the atmosphere around us. The graffiti adorning the walls felt incredibly authentic, channeling the spirit of street art. Seeing these works up close was a rare and unforgettable opportunity that we savoured completely. Around every corner, a new surprise awaited, catching our eye and igniting our curiosity.
Many of the pieces resonated deeply with current events around the world. The Ukraine Zone, covered in rubble and debris, was especially impactful. Walking through this exhibit sent chills down our spines, as we reflected on the devastation of war. Banksy’s rats, scattered around the exhibit, added a charming detail to the experience. As recurring figures in the artist’s work, they provided a playful yet meaningful touch to the venue. The Infinity Room was a true standout, Banksy’s work to life, dancing along the mirrored walls in an immersive display leaving us utterly mesmerized.

Walking away from The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” with our unique souvenirs
The merchandise was also a major highlight, with many of Banksy’s iconic artworks sold on shirts, bags, and more. We especially enjoyed the T-shirt spraying activity that was included with our premium tickets. We were able to spray paint one of Banksy’s iconic pieces onto a blank T-shirt. Our particular favorite was the “Flower Thrower” piece. Walking away with our own wearable work of art was a brilliant touch, turning souvenir merchandise into an extension of the experience itself.
