Singapore’s luxury hospitality scene is about to get a major upgrade of art, wit, and boutique elegance. Opening in 2027, The Hari Singapore will make the highly-anticipated Southeast Asian debut of Harilela Hotels acclaimed luxury brand. Taking over the former Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre on Cavenagh Road, the property is currently undergoing a massive transformation into a 326-room lifestyle haven. Travellers who favour design-forward, culture-rich stays over traditional corporate hotels will adore one of the city-state’s most exciting upcoming openings. Here’s what we know.
What can guests expect at The Hari Singapore?
British designer Tara Bernerd, the creative force behind The Hari’s stunning properties in London and Hong Kong, is helming the interiors for the Singapore outpost. Her vision promises to balance contemporary sophistication with a strong sense of place, drawing inspiration from Singapore’s dynamic energy.

Additionally, the brand’s founder Dr. Aron Harilela noted that the new 5-star hotel will deliver a unique vibe of relaxed elegance punctuated by eccentricity, wit, culture, and genuine heartfelt hospitality.
Beyond the stylish guestrooms, The Hari Singapore will feature a breezy rooftop pool, an exclusive executive lounge, and elevated wellness and dining venues. Plus, the hotel will serve as a cultural hub, showcasing a signature rotating collection of curated artwork throughout its public spaces, which is true to their DNA.
Meanwhile, the location places guests right at the crossroads of the city’s vibrant past and bustling present—just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Peranakan shophouses of Emerald Hill and the iconic shopping belt of Orchard Road.

Interestingly, Singapore’s opening marks only the third property in the world for The Hari. So it promises to be the ultimate stylish sanctuary for global nomads and staycationing locals alike by 2027.
