Singapore is known for its myriad of hotels because it has one of the best markets for hotels to grow. From lush global brands to charming locally-owned hotels, with dazzling designs and attractive amenities…we’re spoilt for choice. And now The Singapore EDITION opened in Singapore’s prime shopping district: Orchard Road.
The Singapore EDITION
The Singapore EDITION takes inspiration from more than 15 EDITION hotels by Ian Schrager and Marriott International worldwide such as The Madrid EDITION, The New York EDITION and The London EDITION. Wonderfully, it’s the first Southeast Asian hotel to open.
The 5-star luxury hotel in Singapore boasts six light-filled floors with magnificent designs and and state-of-the-art amenities. The Singapore EDITION features 204 guest rooms and suites, alongside a stunning skypark, a spa, a rooftop pool, a gym, large event spaces, stylish bars and restaurants, a sunken garden home to more than 300 plants and 162 suspended preserved fern spheres from Southeast Asia, and much more.
The warm property integrates greenery and nature elements throughout making it a tranquil escape among the chaos of Orchard Road. The masterpiece was designed by famous Safdie Architects and local studio DP Architects.
Unique guest experiences
There are unique guest experiences inside the world-class property. The hotel is famous for its sophisticated nightlife and arts scene. For instance, the rooftop pool and terrace is accessed via The Roof bar, which boasts a semi alfresco setting surrounded by lush greenery, which is a cosy hub for sunset cocktails.
Plus, EDITION’s signature bar Punch Room exhibits a unique punch cocktail menu inspired by Southeast Asian spices. Meanwhile, the pink-style Lobby Bar boasts Lalique-inspired crystal decanters, sculptures, leather chairs, and artworks – offering the perfect setting for a date.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy award-winning gastronomy such as EDITION’s signature restaurant by famous Australian chef Josh Niland. FYSH at EDITION is the first restaurant outside Australia and it serves sustainable seafood and steakhouse-inspired dishes, accompanied by vegetables and meats.
Other notably designs include eye-catching biophilic green walls, a marbled Lobby with a domed ceiling covered with gold leaf, an 80-seater marble dining room in a jade colour, and a lush timber-decked garden courtyard resembling an ancient Chinese temple. Meanwhile, each room has warm white rugs, deep-seated sofas, and customised white oak-planked floors making it an oasis of comfort.
Certainly, The Singapore EDITION is a true taste of luxury in The Lion City. Book your stay.
