Singapore just can’t get enough of Post-Impressionist Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh lately. Once you’ve checked out the iconic Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in Sentosa, you need to try a limited edition Van Gogh-themed Afternoon Tea at Fairmont Singapore.
The Seasons Of Impressionists Afternoon Tea is a collaboration between London’s National Gallery and ANTI: DOTE available until April 2. It features a sunflower-themed afternoon tea inspired one of Van Gogh’s most famous works, Sunflowers, created in 1888.
Guests can look forward to Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong and Senior Sous Chef Jack Lai’s remarkable food creations, which reimagines the work of Sunflowers, as food art. Tuck into delectable sunflower-shaped treats and sip on sunflower-themed cocktail and mocktails, in a picturesque setting, designed to match the theme.
Highlights include a selection of sandwiches, amuse bouche with baby shrimp, sweet treats from sunflower praline pot to Nespresso chocolate ganache, soft scones, and more – all complemented by the likes of free-flow champagnes, fine harvest teas or crowd-pleasing cocktails such as Colourful Yellow with white rum, sunflower seeds and tropical fruits.
Prices begin at $58 per person but vary depending on the package. Plus, there’s a Children’s Afternoon Tea for $40 per child. These Van Gogh Inspired Afternoon Tea sets are so instagrammable, you won’t even want to feast on it.
This art-style afternoon tea is the first in a four-part series at the Fairmont Singapore. The Seasons of Impressionists Van Gogh Afternoon Tea finishes on April 2, and runs daily from 12pm to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm. Book here.
