Singapore isn’t short of pet-friendly cafes. But we’re sure you’ve never been to a café dedicated to petting adorable pugs in Singapore. What The Pug launched on Haji Lane at the end of 2021.
Located in a former shophouse, What The Pug boasts a deep purple exterior, a black and white marble floor, cartoon pug murals, paw print glass doors and much more. Dog lovers will adore 12 excited pugs who come out to play. With different personalities, colours, ages and sizes…you’ll be spoilt for choice when choosing a cute pug to play with.
Wonderfully, the pugs can be seen jumping for joy awaiting to meet you from behind the baby gate. Once released, they usually race with excitement, leaping on laps and licking the faces of attendees. Plus, you can feed them treats.
According to reviews, the pugs are ‘cheerful, happy and welcoming’. While other google users stated it was a lovely experience and the pugs are properly cared for by friendly owner Zack.
This pug haven does not serve food, it is solely a café dedicated to playful pug adventures. Certainly, the perfect date idea for animal lovers.
Entry to the pugs café starts from $20 per person and each session is 45 minutes. Additionally, attendees get a free drink and polaroid photo for memories. Up to 10 people are allowed per session. Book your session via the Beau website.
