Punch, who was abandoned by his mother shortly after birth at Japan’s Ichikawa City Zoo, has us crying every time we open our feed. And the worst part is that he is being bullied by the other monkeys. In an effort to help him seek comfort and build strength, the zookeepers gave him an orangutan plushie and videos of him and his stuffed companion have went viral. The immense online support for Punch has caused his favourite toy, the IKEA DJUNGELSKOG Orangutan, to fly off the shelves globally. Excitingly, this 36cm emotional support ape can be purchase in IKEA Singapore for just $19.90. Although, it is currently out of stock but it should be restocked by the end of this week. Otherwise, you can buy a 20cm mini version for just $2.90 at IKEA stores.
