Euripides, the ancient Greek tragedian, said, “Where there is no wine there is no love.” Whether true or not, Noble Juice Sommeliers is returning to The Providore for a very special Valentine’s Wine Therapy workshop perfect for lovebirds, best friends and lovers of good wine.
Among the glasses of wine, the Wine Therapy experience includes forays into wine’s love language, a brief introduction into love’s entanglement with the potent elixir and some games, like the chance to paint your partner’s portrait with wine.
Sign up for Wine Therapy and let love flow for Valentine’s Day.
Your Wine Therapy session will begin with the basics of wine tasting as well as some tips on how to get the best out of your bottle of wine so that neither you nor your partner ever ruin a good thing.
Wine’s love language will then be spilt for all before both you (and your partner in crime) are put through a wine personality test. Then it will be time to paint with wine. If the portrait doesn’t come out as you thought it would, blame it on the vino.
Wine Therapy participants at The Providore will get to sample a Bordeaux Chateau de Lavison 2016 and a chardonnay from Domaine Maurice Tremblay 2019 Chablis.
They will also get to taste a natural orange wine from Greece, be tempted with a Muscat Late Harvest dessert wine from Chateau Pajzos and also savour the fizz of a Gamet Rive Gauche because who can say no to Champagne on a special occasion?
Wine Therapy by Noble Juice Sommeliers takes place at The Providore on February 11 and 18 at 7pm. Remember, a bottle of wine begs to be shared. But it doesn’t need to be.
Whether you’re in need of wine therapy for one or two, let wine do the talking this Valentine’s Day.
