Singapore’s cocktail aficionados, clear your Friday night plans for one-night-only this May 2026, as the world’s no.1 best bar takes flight from Hong Kong to Singapore. On May 8, Lorenzo Antinori, the charismatic maestro behind the famous Bar Leone, is bringing his acclaimed bar directly to you that focuses on classic cocktails with a low-intervention approach. Wonderfully, he will step behind the counter at QT Singapore’s luxurious Cygnet Bar from 6pm to 11pm to serve a slice of his beloved Roman neighbourhood to Singaporeans. In fact, Bar Leone was crowned #1 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list. Here’s what to expect from the guest shift.
What exactly happens when the world’s best bar takes over?
Bar Leone is famous for bringing the warm, convivial spirit of Rome’s historic Trastevere neighbourhood to life in Hong Kong. And on May 8, the evening promises a curated menu of six stellar cocktails priced at $26 each. Excitingly, Antinori is bringing along three of his heaviest hitters including the legendary Fig Leaf Negroni made with a custom fig leaf-infused vermouth. Meanwhile, those craving something richer will love the Olive Oil Sour, a highly textural masterpiece blending whisky, sherry, and honey with subtle banana notes. Otherwise, try the Caffè Paradiso, a bittersweet, spirit-forward concoction of amaro, vermouth, and discarded banana rum.

Additionally, Antinori will debut three brand-new creations using Another Hendrick’s Gin to add an exclusive touch to the bar takeover. This new gin is a permanent expression infused with orange blossom and cacao that brings a brighter profile to the brand’s iconic rose and cucumber base.
Guests can sip on the Green & Gold Fizz, a vibrant fruity highball using yellow bell pepper-infused Milagro Tequila layered with mango and passionfruit. Otherwise, Il Cacciatore is an elegant savoury fix complete with cherry tomato, while the delicate Pear & Shiso Gimlet combines the new gin with pear eau de vie, shiso liqueur, and verjus.

To match the energy of the takeover, Cygnet Bar is rolling out a specially-curated menu of its New York-inspired bar dining—perfect for sharing. Indulge on luxurious bites like the plump lobster roll or the decadent jamón serrano bikini sandwich, alongside reliable crowd-pleasers such as truffle fries and elevated nibbles like seaweed popcorn, to name a few.
Certainly, you can experience the world’s no.1 best bar this May 2026 without booking a flight to Hong Kong.
