Singaporeans looking for a dreamy tropical island vacation should put on their bucket list a one-of-a-kind, new floating beach club in Phuket. Set to open at the end of January, YONA Beach Club will be the first floating beach club in the area, and one of very few globally.
YONA Beach Club
Located at the Bay of Patong, the venue can accommodate up to 500 guests. Featuring a 22-metre long infinity pool, with iconic 360-degree views, private rooftop cabanas, poolside beds, a restaurant and a modern bar spread across three floors…it’s the ultimate new attraction in Thailand.
Already, Patong is a hugely popular tourist destination offering fantastic nightlife, a range of hotels and entertainment experiences. And now, this will include one of the finest ocean day resorts worldwide.
The party experience is elevated onboard with a poolside DJ booth and a dancefloor to bounce to a host of tunes, and drink refreshing cocktails galore, under the sunshine. Plus, there’ll be watersports around the floating oasis. On the second floor, visitors can relax on the Sunset Terrace and enjoy panoramic views of the best sunsets at sundown.
According to Thai news reports, YONA Beach Club was first concepted more than six years ago. It will open from 11am to 2am daily. The floating beach club plans to relocate to Royal Phuket Marina during the low season from April 15 each year.
With flights starting from less than $140 return on a one hour and 55 minute direct flight route from Singapore…it’s the perfect weekend trip for sun-seeking Singaporeans.
