Singapore is set to welcome a vibrant new addition to its culinary landscape with the opening of Soi Stories, the city-state’s first dedicated Thai food street, at The Centrepoint this December. This immersive dining destination aims to transport visitors straight to the bustling sois of Bangkok, complete with layered shopfronts, aged finishes, vintage-inspired aesthetics, and a dedicated stage for live entertainment.
In fact, the project is a collaboration with acclaimed Michelin-starred chef behind Le Du, Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn, who has curated an impressive lineup of 11 distinct Thai food concepts. Here’s what to expect.
First Thai Food Street in Singapore
Excitingly, there’s a diverse range of culinary offerings at Soi Stories. This includes two award-winning Bangkok hawkers and nine original concepts developed alongside Chef Ton.
Highlights include Khun Chui Kaprow, a pad kaprow specialist and a personal favourite of Chef Ton, as well as Kua Kai Ai Khao, which focuses on Bangkok’s famous guay tiew kua gai.
Other delicious concepts include Mor Khao Mor Gaeng, a Thai curry-and-rice counter; Siam Beef Co., inspired by specialist beef noodle shops; and Khao Chao, offering a Thai twist on the classic coffee-and-toast ritual.

Additionally, the in-house Thai Drinks Bar named Nam Jai, serves a range of traditional and modern Thai beverages, including a selection from a pioneering six-tap Chang beer system. Notably, Chang Espresso, Chang Classic, and Chang Cold Brew will be available on draft exclusively too.
Plus, you can shop for Thai lifestyle goodies at the retail pop-up Sarapad Thai. Perfect casual dining evening for families with children and friend groups.
