Looking for unique escapes nearby? Mattel fans and families can go beyond Johor Bahru and Bintan to enjoy a relatively new immersive play space in Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to a new attraction, dedicated to the world of Barbie, adults can bring their children to enjoy a few hours of high-energy fun at a supersized pastel pink Barbie playground. Tucked inside Pavilion Bukit Jalil, this interactive Barbie playground turns the iconic doll’s universe into a real-life adventure—complete with climbing structures, role play corners, and pastel-perfect backdrops that are made for both playtime and the gram located on Level 5 of the mall. Here’s why it’s a must-visit attraction in Malaysia.
What makes this viral Barbie playground the ultimate day out in KL?
The new Mattel-themed indoor playground features a massive dedicated Barbie zone, alongside play areas inspired by Hot Wheels and Thomas & Friends. From life-sized pink installations to instagrammable corners, thrilling slides, interactive makeup stations, and zones for kids to climb structures or make believe…it’s the ultimate destination for fun. In fact, it’s Malaysia’s first Barbie playground inside the permanent Mattel Playhouse.

Additionally, there are other Mattel playhouse activities at the indoor playground such as Hot Wheels tracks to watch zooming toy cars, cool trains in the Thomas & Friends zone, and more.

The price to enter the Barbie Playground in KL is included in a Playhouse by Mattel ticket. It costs RM38 (S$12) on weekdays and RM48 (S$15) over the weekends. Plus, one paying child’s fee includes entry for one accompanying adult. It opens from 10am to 10pm daily.
Certainly, a fun activity if you’re on a weekend staycation in Kuala Lumpur.
